Bicton Park Botanical Gardens is a great place to visit come rain or shine. The park is a gardeners delight, spanning nearly 300 years of gardening history and is home to many rare and beautiful species collected from around the world.
The Bicton Woodland Railway takes you on a 25 minute tour of the park, through the majestic trees in the Pinetum and up to the 19th century Hermitage summerhouse at the end of the Gardens before returning alongside the lake.
There are under cover attractions for both young and old such as the well equipped indoor kids play area, historic Palm House, countryside and motors museum, restaurant and gift shop.
