About Ilfracombe Museum

Ilfracombe museum is one of the top-rated museums in Devon and was awarded a Tripadvisor certificate of Excellence in 2018. It has an amazingly varied collection arranged over eight rooms. Quizzes and handling items for children. Have a go at brass rubbing. Our collection includes insects and butterflies in drawers, Victorian costumes, local maritime and military displays, Ilfracombe railway display, African and South American artefacts. Something to fascinate everyone!
